  • Pets and Parasites is a great website that provides information to help protect you and your family from transmitted diseases.
  • Nutritional needs of pets change as they grow from cute, fuzzy puppies and kittens to sleek, adept adults and on to a content senior life.  There are many good pet food manufacturers producing high quality, balanced and tested foods.  To learn more about your pets needs visit Hills Pet Nutrition and Purina's website.
  • Traveling with your pet?  There is a lot more to it than hopping into the car.  Be sure you have accurate information well in advance of your travel plans.  Click here for interstate requirements.  For international requirements, click here. When traveling internationally, be sure to check into the requirements early; exporting an animal to certain countries can take 6-9 months.
  • National Animal Poison Control Center  This is the website of the National Animal Poison Control Center. It includes a library, links to other sites, and phone numbers for the poison control center.
  • Pet Loss Support-Losing a pet is a sad time in our lives.  It's okay to miss your much-loved pet.  If you or someone you know is having difficulty grieving the loss of a pet, there is help.  The link will connect you to WSU's website that offers grief resources.
